Why Use Hot Pressing Technology For Plywood?

Sep 20, 2024Leave a message

Hot pressing is the process of diluting the adhesive thoroughly onto the contact surface of the veneer, and shaping the plywood through two factors: pressure and temperature.
The higher the pressure, the higher the density of plywood, and the lower the pressure, the lower the density of plywood. This is a positive correlation. If it is to press large plywood, a large hot pressing mechanical equipment is required. The surface area should be at least slightly larger than the processed product, but not too large because when force is applied, it will concentrate on one point, causing displacement of other non-contact parts and damaging the mechanical performance.

Temperature control is also very important. As the temperature increases, the dense glue will gradually dilute, and as the temperature decreases, the glue will solidify again. Therefore, it is necessary to find a balance point between the two. Generally speaking, there is a time difference between the inlet and outlet of the board, and a long or short time will affect the forming effect of the plywood.
